The Pico Union Project is excited to host with new eyes, a photographic workshop that will bring together 16 people from different faith and cultural communities for 4 exciting days of discovery.
Participants will work with internationally acclaimed photographer Saskia Keeley who will teach the group how to use the cameras and encouraged everyone to learn about the other through a camera lens.

WHO
The workshop will consist of 4 groups of 4 participants from the different faith groups that are part of the Pico Union community. $150, (include 3 meetings, camera for the duration of the course and closing dinner)

I believe disparate cultures can be bridged through recognition of our common humanity. Fostering such empathetic connection is especially fulfilling when women, children, and people from less visible parts of the community are brought out of darkness and into light.
